Even giants fall at the feet of the truth
It protects the old, the weak, the youth
From the incessant cruelty that the world will bring
For ultimately only Justice is our king.
The Law will bring to reckoning those that lay to waste
The spirit of the man, to satiate their taste
For money or for power or for lust or for greed
The Law will make them pay for their despicable deed.
The lone tear on the victim’s cheek, the quivering wrinkled hand
The scream that died within the mouth, the unlawfully grabbed land
The ones left behind by loved ones taken away too soon
The child that never got to hear his mother’s loving croon.
Will all speak and fight to death in walls where Justice resides
Where he who is wronged gets to vindicate his rights
If we cast aside all prejudice and let good sense prevail
Allow our reason to guide us so that Justice may not fail.
So look within, so look around
For injustice might not make a sound
Keep your lips sealed, keep your ears open
Hear them whom the world has forsaken
Let not the blindfold blind us
Let not the scales imbalance us
Let not the screaming mobs deafen us
Let not unscrupulous considerations beguile us
We the soldiers of the fight for Justice
We in whom reposited public trust is
Armed with our band and cloaks and gavel
Will bring to light the truth and injustice we’ll unravel.
